US accuses Russia of hacking Yahoo

United States prosecutors have charged two Russian intelligence agents and two other people with offenses stemming from the hacking of at least half a billion Yahoo accounts, CNBC reports. Russia’s FSB used and protected notorious hackers to break into Yahoo’s network, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Yahoo recently disclosed a pair of data breaches that affected 1.5 billion or more accounts.
