Tillerson says Russia must restore Ukraine territory, or sanctions stay

Speaking beside Ukrainian President Poroshenko in Kiev, U.S. Sec. of State Rex Tillerson said Washington will not lift its sanctions against Moscow until Russia “reverses the actions” that prompted them and restores Ukraine’s territorial integrity, the New York Times reports. U.S. President Trump then said in a tweet that he did not discuss sanctions during his meeting with Putin in Germany.
