Croatia to revoke disputed import fees

After talk of a trade war, the Croatian government decided to revoke its move to raise fees on imports of fruit and vegetables, Balkan Insight reports. Zagreb’s fee hike raised the cost of inspections of fruit and vegetable imports from 12 euros to 270 euros. Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia and Montenegro responded with a joint ultimatum that Croatia drop the fee hike or face countermeasures, leading Zagreb to relent.
