German interview could cost Turkey’s opposition leader dearly

Turkish media outlets loyal to the ruling AKP are attacking opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu over comments he made in an interview with the German magazine Focus, alleging the CHP leader said German tourists should not visit Turkey. Kilicdaroglu simply said, “there is no guarantee for life and property” in Turkey due to the deterioration of judicial standards and the rule of law.
