Smugglers test migrant Black Sea route to Romania

Romania’s coast guard announced that about 200 asylum seekers from Iraq and Iran arrived by boat from Turkey at the the port of Mangalia, Romania. With about 93 migrants arriving daily on the Greek islands and most of them getting stuck in lengthy asylum procedures, smugglers are likely testing the viability of the Turkey-Romania route across the Black Sea, EU Observer reports.
