Russian soldier kills three fellow servicemen at Far East firing range

A Russian soldier opened fire with an automatic weapon on a group of soldiers during target practice in Russia’s Far East Amur region, killing three fellow servicemen and injuring two others, RFE/RL reports. The soldier reportedly fled the scene with his weapon and four magazines of ammunition after the shooting, and Russian police are still searching for him. Meanwhile, the local local administration of the city of Belogorsk has identified the suspect as Gasan Abdulakhadov, a 23-year-old native of Russia’s Daghestan region.
