Hundreds detained in Moscow after nationalist blogger calls for revolution

On the day in which former Russian politician and nationalist YouTube vlogger Vyacheslav Maltsev had called for a revolution, Russian riot police detained hundreds of people in Moscow, many of whom were not even followers of Maltsev, the Telegraph reports. Those detained Sunday included teenagers, 20-somethings, Alexei Navalny supporters and libertarians who were attending a reading of Adam Smith texts. Maltsev, who fled abroad after a criminal case for extremism was opened against him in July, said on Saturday that more than a hundred of his followers had been rounded up around Russia.
