Turkish FM says negotiating with Russia over S-400 technology transfer

Although the $2.5 billion S-400 missile system deal between Russia and Turkey has supposedly been finalized, Ankara is still negotiating with Moscow over a technology transfer that may or may not be part of the agreement, RFE/RL reports. Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview that Moscow told Ankara in principle there would be joint missile production and a technology transfer, but the issue will continue to be negotiated over the “medium-term and long-term.”
