Yekaterinburg Mayor Yevgeny Roizman on why he is boycotting Russia’s presidential election

In an interview with The Moscow Times, Russian opposition politician, Yekaterinburg Mayor Yevgeny Roizman, states the only unknown in Russia’s upcoming presidential elections is turnout. The Kremlin must convince  itself, the electorate and the outside world that Putin is chosen voluntarily by a large majority. Hence, the Kremlin-controlled media and presidential candidates have one assignment, which is to increase turnout, Roizman stated.
