Novichok used in spy poisoning, chemical weapons watchdog confirms

International chemical weapons watchdog the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) confirmed the UK’s findings about the chemical used to poison former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter. The OPCW report does not mention novichok by name, but it states analysis confirms the findings of the United Kingdom. The UK has said the chemical was novichok, a military-grade nerve agent developed by Russia.
