Montenegro’s Djukanovic declares victory in presidential election

Longtime Montenegrin leader Milo Djukanovic declared victory following the first round of Montenegro’s presidential election, claiming about 54 percent of the vote and easily defeating his main challenger, anti-NATO candidate Mladen Bojanic, who received about 33 percent, RFE/RL reports.
