Hundreds protest after investigative journalist shot in Montenegro

Olivera Lakic, a crime and corruption reporter for the independent Vijesti daily, was shot in the leg outside her home in Podgorica, prompting hundreds of people to take to the streets in Montenegro and protest, The Independent reports. She was previously physically assaulted, and last month, a bomb exploded outside another crime reporter’s home.
