Turkey’s end-year inflation expectations reach 11.07% in May, lira hits fresh low

The Turkish central bank’s May survey of businesses and analysts found expectations for Turkey’s end-of-2018 inflation rate hit 11.07 percent, rising a whole point from 10.07 percent in April, bne IntelliNews reports. On Monday, the lira sunk to new record lows, plunging to nearly 4.6 to the dollar.
