Netherlands, Australia hold Russia responsible in MH17 downing

On Thursday, the Dutch-led investigation into the downing of MH17 announced findings that the Buk missile that shot down the passenger aircraft over Eastern Ukraine came from a launcher in Russia’s 53rd Anti-Aircraft Brigade. Then on Friday, The Netherlands and Australia announced they hold the Russian state responsible in part for the downing of MH17 and will seek compensation, Reuters reports. Of the 298 MH17 passengers killed, 193 were Dutch and 28 were Australian citizens.
