BBC World Cup journalist reportedly drugged, robbed in Moscow

A BBC correspondent covering the World Cup was reportedly drugged while taking a late-night taxi ride and then robbed. The journalist told Russian police that while taking a taxi at around 3:30 a.m., he drank coffee that was offered to him by unidentified people in the vehicle and then he passed out. Russian state media are reporting two suspects have been detained in the case. The UK Foreign Office is saying “the spiking of drinks does happen and can lead to robbery” in Russia.
