Boris Johnson quits to add to pressure on May over Brexit

With the UK continuing to stumble toward a Brexit deal with the EU, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, formerly a leading voice in the “Leave” campaign, announced his resignation as Britain’s top diplomat, the BBC reports. Johnson resigned within hours of Brexit Secretary David Davis also resigning. The moves are increasing the political pressure on PM Theresa May, who is considered by many people to not have an effective Brexit strategy.
