Trump doubles metal tariffs on Turkey as lira falls by 20%

With the lira already in free fall, President Trump doubled U.S. tariffs on  Turkish steel and aluminum imports. He then tweeted that the lira is very weak against the dollar and that relations between the U.S. and Turkey are not good, the BBC reports. The lira has lost 20 percent against the dollar in the last 24 hours after already having fallen 40 percent over the last year.
