Russian-made fighter plane crashes in Egypt

Reuters cities the Russian RIA news agency in reporting a Russian-made MiG-29 fighter plane owned by the Egyptian army crashed during a training flight in Egypt. The Egyptian military said the fighter jet crashed due to a “technical glitch in the control tools,” and that the pilot managed to safely eject from the plane. Russia reportedly supplied 46 MiG-29 fighter planes to Egypt under a 2015 deal.
