Ukraine bars Russian men aged 16-60 from entry

As Kiev is imposing martial law in 10 regions, it is also barring Russian men aged 16-60 from entering Ukraine, the BBC reports. Ukrainian President Poroshenko tweeted that the ban on Russian men is designed to prevent the formation of “private armies” in Ukraine. Poroshenko also said registration criteria would be tightened for Russian citizens in the regions under martial law. Those regions are: 5 that border Russia; 2 that border Transnistria, where Moscow has troops stationed; and 3 that border the Black Sea or Sea of Azov close to Russian-occupied Crimea.
