Bulgaria’s outgoing PM hints at support for new government within current parliament

Bne IntelliNews reports outgoing Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov is considering backing the potential formation of a government led by the Patriotic Front, an alliance of nationalist parties, that has given support to Borisov’s GERB. Both GERB and lead opposition, the Bulgarian Socialist Party, say they will refuse the mandate to form a new government. A potential Patriotic Front-led government would reportedly try to hike pensions and create a “plan B” to guard against Erdogan flooding Bulgaria with refugees.
